- Abstract
- The complex of researches on technology optimization of barely visible impact damages detection by means of impact sensitive coating on a primary structures parts of flight vehicle design on which load-bearing elements from polymer composite materials (PCM) are placed is executed. Two-seat airplane "Sigma-7" flight tests made by Scientifically-Engineering Company Ltd. are carried out. This flight tests showed double layer impact sensitive coating operational effectiveness for rapid search and registration of invisible damages of glass reinforced plastic main landing gear wheel fairings surfaces. The technology allows you to quickly and efficiently obtain reliable data on the technical condition of the PCM primary structures parts. The necessity of further development of this technology is confirmed.
