- Abstract
- The article is concerned with experimental study of the effect of transverse impact on compressive strength of composite lattice structures. Lattice panels were subjected to impact with various intensity and subsequent compression up to failure. Dramatic influence of impact intensity on the panels load carrying capacity has been observed. The panel structure with improved resistance to impact is proposed and experimentally verified.
