- Abstract
- The article considers some aspects of creation of metal composite materials based on titanium matrices reinforced with core fibers of silicon carbide. There are given data of sources of scientific and technical literature on production of continuous silicon carbide fibres on carbon and tungsten core, methods of application of coatings on them preventing interaction of fibre with metal matrix and technologies of production of structural articles from metal composite material SiC-Ti-alloy. The main problems in obtaining materials of this class are indicated.
