- Abstract
- The article reviews one of acute issues of the definition of hydrodynamic loads at asymmetric closure of a cavity on a cylindrical composite shell under multiphase flow. The article provides the comparison of analyzed and experimental data. As a result of the performed numerical analyses, laws describing the formation of hydrodynamic loads in the area of the asymmetric cavity closure on a circular cylinder are obtained. The article also demonstrates the possibility of applying the developed methodology to define loads at asymmetric closure of a cavity on a cylindrical composite shell under multiphase flow.
