- Abstract
- The article reviews one of acute issues of the simulation of a missile take-off in a hydrodynamic tank with the aim to define hydrodynamic loads at asymmetric closure of a cavity on a cylindrical composite shell under multiphase flow. The paper provides the comparison of numerical and experimental data. Laws describing dependencies of the formation of hydrodynamic loads in the area of the asymmetric cavity closure on a circular cylinder are obtained. The possibility to implement the developed methods for the definition of loads when simulating a take-off of a missile with a composite shell in a hydrodynamic tank is demonstrated.
