- Abstract
- The work investigates the process of perforation of woven carbon fiber reinforced plastic VKU-39 using the method of copy-piercing electrical discharge machining using composite modular electrodes-tools in different modes. New data were obtained on the influence of perforation modes on the quality of the machined surface and the destruction of the electrode-tool. The range of current values recommended for perforation of products made of polymer composite materials using the method of copy-piercing electrical discharge machining has been established. It has been established that perforation of polymer composite material using the method of copy-piercing electrical discharge machining should be carried out at a current strength of 2 to 4 A.
