- Abstract
- The article presents theoretical foundations for the formation of free space (volume) in heterogeneous reinforcing structural fabrics (2D structure fillers) in accordance with the hierarchical levels of their structure organization. The dependences of various components of free volume in a unidirectional (1D structure) fibrous filler (Vsv.1D, Vsv.1 and Vsv.2) on the main parameters of its structure (Z, df, аsr.f /df) are established, and their influence on the process of impregnation with a polymer binder is shown. A description of the structure of glass fabrics (2D structure) is proposed using geometric parameters: thread diameter (dn), bending wave height (h), geometric density (l). For the first time, taking into account the geometric parameters of the fabric structure, the free volume Vsv.tk and its distribution in the structure of structural glass fabrics of various grades are calculated in accordance with the reinforcement directions: along the warp - Vsv.os and along the weft - Vsv.ut.
