- Abstract
- The article presents an application-oriented software and methodological system for effective complex simulation of hydrodynamics of underwater launch of missiles with composite shells. The system implements successive solutions of particular problems accounting for design features of a missile, shell material, flow conditions, processes of heat and mass transfer, ways of the missile leaving a silo, ensuring stable motion of the missile at the trajectory, availability of vaporous or forced cavitation, above-silo gas cavity, silo gas-jet protection, spoilers as lattice-like vanes, tail fins, silo design features. The software system permits conducting simulation of underwater launch, calculate hydro- and aerodynamic loads on composite shells.
