- Abstract
- This study presents numerical predictions of effective elastic properties for 3D-reinforced composite materials (3D-RCMs) by solving six boundary value problems in solid mechanics. A unit cell model with realistic geometric parameters of structural elements was analyzed. Stress and strain fields were determined through volume averaging. Temperature-dependent effective elastic properties were investigated in the range of +20 оC to +160 оC.
