- Abstract
- The article discusses the design and manufacturing process of a large-size tooling forming shell made of polymer composite materials, created form the surface of a seven-segment detachable master model. It shown that the use of a segmented structure ensures compliance with mass and dimensional constrains while maintaining high geometric accuracy for complex-shaped products.
