- Abstract
- This article examines challenges associated with the development of reflector structures from polymer composite materials for aerospace applications. Using examples of reinforced shell structures, it presents the results of an experimental study and a comparative analysis of the strength characteristics of various shell-to-rib joint options. Examples of practical implementations of design and engineering techniques for creating reinforced reflector structures and mirror systems from composite materials are provided.
