- Abstract
- This article examines the influence of carbon nanotubes on a polymer binder and the mechanical properties of a composite. Experiments were conducted on elementary samples - with and without nanotubes - using standard methods to evaluate the effect of nanomodification. Simultaneously, computational modeling was performed taking existing nanotubes into account, and a discussion of the calculated and experimental data is provided. The research aims to create promising lightweight, high-strength composites for aviation.
