- Abstract
- Mechanical characteristics at a stretching in wide speed range of deformation έ monofilaments in diameter 10 microns from rigidchain aromatic polyamides of the SVM and Rusar are investigated. Fibres were made by methods of wet and is dry-wet formation accordingly under technical specifications and on the technology excluding high-heat treatment. Obtained data testifyied to various behaviour of aramide fibres at a loading in static (έ ~ 10-3 c-1), quasistatic (έ ~ 10-1 c-1) and dynamic (έ ~ 102 c-1) modes. Fibres optimum in a static mode of operation are not those in dynamic service conditions.
