- Abstract
- National standards of the Russian Federation and the standards of the ASTM D30 committee of the American Society for testing and materials, regulating mechanical tests of reinforced polymer matrix composite materials have been analyzed and compared. Particular emphasis has been placed on examining the standards for stretching, compression, shear and bending tests. The errors in the RF standards revealed by the analysis have been discussed.
