- Abstract
- It was noted that numerous methods of silicon carbide manufacturing on the surface and into the porous carbon-carbon preform are known, and method of reactionary diffusion is considered as one of the most economical one. The method of silicon carbide layer manufacturing on the carbon materials registered by JSC "Kompozit" was used in this research. Silicon nitride Si3N4 was a spent silicon carbide precursor. The special features of siliconizing of carbon-carbon composites with various reinforcement and types of carbon matrix were taken up in the article. SiC-coating production procedure was considered too.
