- Abstract
- The influence of alloying elements on synthesis of fullerene-bearing phases in the course of sintering of powder steels is investigated. It is shown that alloying of powdered composition of ferrum and eutectic iron by manganese and cupper promotes to synthesize of fullerenes on all volume of specimens. It is established that the synthesis fullerenes takes place most actively when 6 % manganese and cupper are introduced in composition. The investigations showed that decrease of density and porosity size of steel specimens promotes to synthesis activation of fullerenes in the course of sintering the powdered carbon steels.
