- Abstract
- The low-cycle fatigue life of flexible printed ribbon cables for microdevices that under elastoplastic strains of copper conductors has been researched. It is established, to reduce the plastic strains of materials of printed ribbon cables used most effectively the following constructive-technological ways: increase of the radius of inflection printed ribbon cables and capping. So increase of inflection radius of printed ribbon cables from 1 to 5 mm allows to reduce the plastic strain of copper conductors in 25 times, and capping of polyimide varnish on copper conductors reduces elastoplastic strains of conductors in 2.5 times and increased fatigue life of printed ribbon cables from 5 to 37 loading cycles.
