- Abstract
- The features of the implementation of systems for optical built-in monitoring of structures made of polymer composite materials (PCM) with integrated fiber-optic sensors (FOS) based on fiber Bragg gratings (FBG). The methodology of optical monitoring of deformation and temperature of CFRPs, as well as the simultaneous control of these parameters, taking into account real operating conditions, is described. It has been experimentally confirmed that the integration of FOS into construction material structure at the manufacturing stage makes it possible to realize the possibility of continuous monitoring of deformation and temperature both in the process of bench tests for static and dynamic loads, and in the future will allow monitoring throughout the entire life cycle of the product.
